Scope and briefing
When booking, you'll be asked to provide a project description and session goals. A few lines are enough.
After booking, you can also send us files. While we'll discuss the project in more detail at the start of the session, this helps us better prepare for it.
How is a prototype session used?
A session can be used to:
- Develop a new product idea from scratch.
- Work on a specific part of a larger project, such as a new feature or flow.
- Create 2–3 prototype variations, for example, for A/B testing or when you're deciding between multiple options.
- Expand or improve a previous prototype from an earlier session using new information.
How large can a project be?
On average, a prototype session results in about five well-developed screens. This number can vary depending on complexity per screen or if certain elements are reused. For example, fewer screens may be completed for a long scroll page with many unique elements or a highly specific interaction.
Regardless of scope, we always allocate 16 hours for developing the prototype. The more focused the scope, the more detailed the elements can be.
Can I split a large project?
You can always divide a large project into multiple prototype sessions. We recommend booking one session at a time to better assess your position and determine what needs to happen in subsequent sessions.
If you're unsure about the scope of your session, you can send us a message or schedule a video call to discuss this together.
