Hubition

Choosing participants

A Hubition strategist is present at the session, along with three participants from your team. Startups with smaller teams can also invite one less participant.

Why three participants?

In our experience, three participants plus our strategist is the perfect size for this session. It allows the session to be tailored to the project and facilitates more strategic discussions than with a larger group. The goal of the prototype session is to create the strongest possible first version—after delivery, you can always involve more people internally.

Who should I invite?

When selecting participants, it helps to:

  1. Include the decision-maker to ensure decisions can be made during the session.
  2. Choose diverse team members who represent different aspects of the project.

If you're unsure who to invite, you can send us a message or schedule a video call to discuss this together.

Should we invite our designer?

It's not necessary to invite a designer, but you're welcome to do so. Our strategist has a strong UI/UX background to sketch the wireframes, and our prototype designers further develop them afterward.

Usually, internal designers refine and develop the prototype after delivery—they typically get involved in the next phase of the process. Read more here about how a prototype session differs from the work of internal designers.

What if a participant becomes unavailable?

You can always replace a participant. This can be done online via My sessions. Please notify us as soon as possible so we can send the new participant the correct information.
